Logan Bearden will make his NASCAR Euro Series debut in 2026 with Rette Jones Racing by Hendriks Motorsport
The 30-year-old will jump directly into the V8GP competition
The 2026 NASCAR season opener just gained a massive dose of Lone Star State swagger. Austin native Logan Bearden is officially crossing the Atlantic to make his full-time debut in the premier division of the NASCAR regional series in Europe, piloting the No. 30 car for the powerhouse alliance of Rette Jones Racing by Hendriks Motorsport.
At just 30 years old, Bearden isn’t coming over just to see the sights. He’s jumping straight into the deep end of the V8GP Division, the most competitive bracket on the circuit. Known back home as a relentless racer, Bearden splits his time in the United States between the cockpit and the garage, working as a driver and mechanic in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series.
What sets Bearden apart from the field is his mechanical soul. In an era where many drivers simply “arrive and drive,” the Texan understands the inner workings of his machine. It’s this hybrid DNA that caught the eye of veteran team owner Roy Hendriks.
“We’re very pleased to have Logan as part of the team,” Hendriks said. “With his experience racing in the NASCAR series in the United States and his technical background as a mechanic, he brings a valuable mix of racing knowledge and technical expertise. Having someone with that kind of American racing background adds a unique perspective to our team.”
Hendriks noted that the addition is a strategic move, believing Bearden’s feedback from the seat will accelerate the team’s development program throughout the grueling 2026 calendar.
For Bearden, the move represents a pivot toward a global stage. While his hobbies – which usually involve anything with an engine – keep him grounded in Texas car culture, the opportunity to fly the American flag in Europe was too good to pass up.
“I’m really looking forward to racing this season with RJR by Hendriks,” Bearden remarked during the team’s official announcement. “It’s going to be a new challenge that I’m excited for!”
The transition won’t be easy. He’ll be swapping the wide-open ovals of the American South for the technical, unforgiving road courses that define the European circuit.
However, with the backing of a championship-caliber organization like Hendriks Motorsport and the gritty North American influence of Rette Jones Racing, the No. 30 team is expected to be a front-runner from the first green flag in Valencia.
